Jeronimo Bassano
Very little is known of Jeronimo Bassano. Possible father is Santo Bassano
Jeronimo Bassano was head of a family of Italian musicians who moved from Venice to England and the household of Henry VIII to serve the court. Jeronimo himself never moved, however, but was listed in Venice as a "Maestro of the trumpets and shawms" (musical instrument). He was born before 1490, probably in Bassano del Grappa, Venice, Italy.
His wife is unknown, but he did have six sons who were in England by 1540:

  2. Jacomo Bassano (d. 1566; m. Orsetta Griti bef 1540)
  3. Alvise Bassano (d. 1554; 1 known dau.; Lupo family site)
  4. Jasper Bassano (d. 1577)
  5. John Bassano (d. 1570)
  6. Baptista Bassano (never m.; 2 children)

Anthony Bassano
Anthony Bassano was born in Bassano del Grappo, Italy. On 10Aug1536 he married Elena De Nazzi. There were 10 children (** musician to court of Henry VIII of England):

Lucreece Bassano
The dates of birth/marriage of Lucreece Bassano are unclear.
Story #1 b. 9/24/1556, London; m. 2/13/1570-1.
Story #2 b. 1530-40, London; m. bef 1565.
Based on children and husband Nicholas Lanier's previous marriage, Story #1 is far more believable putting the wedding at All Hallows Barking Parrish, London, ENG. She was apparently his second wife, but the pair had 9 children:

Information about her death is unknown other than at the proving of Nicholas' will in July 1612, in England, she was still alive.
