This is the artist's conception of the Davis Family
Home located at Taska, Marshall County, Mississippi (no actual photo exists).
Carol - Mother's sister - painted it from descriptions given her by Mama,
Mother and Eugenia. Carol was only 3 years old when her father died, and
they left the Farm soon after that.

Another Upatoi Terrace: Mother drove Back down to Columbus
to help with Ginny while I was in the Army Hospital , and all that mess
of furniture, 5 people plus a hired trained 'baby nurse' to care for RA.....

3686 Mimossa, Memphis, TN. This was made right after
we bought the property in 1954. We added a concrete driveway all the way
to the garage (which never housed our car) and a fence around the whole
back yard, with a double gate across the driveway at the kitchen entrance.
