First Cousins-Lockhart descendants (left to right): Virginia Newton Mullins, Margaret Curry Isenberger, Carol Davis Gage, Charles Henry Curry, Anna Gordon Davis Dean, Eugenia Davis Dowling. (two more first cousins died young - Carolyn Newton and Frances Curry). When all eight were living, they called themselves "Eight Cousins" after Louisa Mae Alcott's famous book. BUT there were 7 girls and 1 boy, as opposed to Alcott's 8 boys and 1 girl.
