Everything you do can probably be reported in one category or another. Check your Handbook/Directory. Send your reports to the proper Chairman, and Mail them in time to be received before the last minute. You’ve worked too hard for your efforts not to be counted. Come on, Tennessee Volunteers…. Tell your story !

GFWC of TN Knoxville Woman’s Club Wins Safety “Sense” Grant

GFWC Knoxville Woman’s Club is the recipient of a Safety “Sense” Grant in the amount of $500.00 from the GFWC for its community safety project with the Florence Crittenton Agency. Funding for this special GFWC program is being made available through the Allstate Foundation.

The grant money is being used to purchase safety items for the Florence Crittenton Agency Mother-Infant program. Items purchased include: White Hot Bath Duck Thermometers, Health care packets, Nursery Care Kits, Safety Starter Kits. The Knoxville News-Sentinel donated 50 parent and child guide books. The books contain information on emergencies, health information, immunizations, safety, parenting classes, child care, etc.
