MEET YOUR DIRECTOR of JUNIOR CLUBS -

Carla S. Goff, 1501 Greentree Pointe Circle, Lebanon, TN 37087

Home: (615) 449-8067 E-mail: cg9671@aol.com

Carla is starting her 9th year as a GFWC clubwoman. She has held many offices in her club, as well as serving at the District and State levels. Actively involved in her community, she volunteered to sit on many boards including: Big Brothers/Big Sisters, American Heart Association, Cumberland University Phoenix Ball and Girls Scouts.

Carla is currently a Girl Scout volunteer, serving as co-Service Unit Manager in her area and was a troop leader for nine years. She served on many levels of Scouting and was awarded the Outstanding Troop leader award, as well as the Appreciation Pin for her service. Carla has also received the JC Penny Golden Rule Award for outstanding volunteerism.

Carla has recently been honored to serve as a National Disaster Relief volunteer for the American Red Cross. The position required extensive classroom training and on-site training.

In her church community, Carla has served as a coordinator for the children’s church and the co-director of the Junior High youth group.

Carla has resided in Lebanon for the past twelve years, after moving to Tennessee from her home state of West Virginia. She is currently attending college, working towards her degree in Elementary Education. While working on her degree she works as a full time nanny for Chase who is a active 3 years old boy and Kenley who is a very very active one year old girl.

Besides GFWC, Carla enjoys relaxing at home with her dog, Blade. When not studying, she enjoys reading, gardening, home decorating and is also a huge sports fan, especially NASCAR. She spends a lot of time on the field herself while coaching her Junior Pro Cheerleaders for over six years.

MEET YOUR GFWC of TN TREASURER -

JO WEBB

My association with the Federation began 30 years ago when I joined the GFWC Loudon Woman's Club. Still later, I became a charter member of the GFWC Tellico Village Women's Club. When I moved from Loudon County to Knoxville, I was accepted as a proud member of GFWC Ossoli Circle. I feel very fortunate to have been a member of these three great clubs, and claim friends in all of them.

I have three grown daughters and one granddaughter. I enjoy retirement now which helped me make my decision to serve as your State Treasurer again. The one drawback is that I love to travel, and have great incentive to do so with one daughter in Virginia, one in Montana, and friends in Austria. Hopefully, I can juggle my schedule to be able to keep up with my new responsibilities - and have time for family visits.

Beyond this I enjoy art, poetry, plays, concerts, Scottish festivals and jet skis. In Club work, my favorite areas are membership and leadership projects. I look forward to two super years working with your Executive Committee. Thank you for your confidence.
