Tish Jones, GFWC Somo Sala Circle member, and Brigette Jehle, GFWC Ladies Reading Circle member, and Bill Kornrich founded the International Festival in Morristown in 1995. This year's committee members include representatives from Germany, Japan, France, USA, Philippines, Austria, Holland, South Africa, Czech Republic, Yugoslavia, Mexico, India and Cuba. In addition to celebrating the different cultures in the area, the festival also serves to raise awareness and interest of these various cultures, while at the same time giving the area's newest neighbors a sense of belonging and welcoming.
