GFWC Bellevue Woman's Club

The GFWC Bellevue Woman's Club are for the second year selling Uncle Al's pecans for the benefit of another Bellevue organization, the Bellevue/Harpeth Historic Association.

The Historic Assoc.'s prime project is to preserve and reconstruct one of the earliest cabins in the Bellevue area, dating back to the 1790s. The cabin has been dismantled and stored until funds are available
to reconstruct it.

The Woman's Club donated $500.00 last year for this
project. It was the club's Community Improvement Project, which will continue in 2002.

GFWC Brentwood W. C. Saving Our Sisters Shower

GFWC Stones River held a shower for the women and children at the YWCA Domestic Violence Center in response to GF of TN's President's Special Project - S.O.S. Realizing that many women and families have to leave most of their personal belongs behind when they go to the Center, the ladies of the club responded generously, donating items from a previously received list of needed items.
