GFWC Jackson Woman's Club

The Holiday's are close at hand. The Jackson Woman's Club has been busy stuffing Christmas stockings for the Brighter Christmas Fund.

Also, we have just concluded the City - County Poetry Contest. Ladies, 483 poems were submitted from all over the City and County. JoAnn Wagner chaired this committee and we appreciate the good job she did in getting so much participation.

We have recently voted on our choice for Woman of the Year, but you will have to read the next article because it will not be announced until 12-10-02..

We are wishing each of you a Beautiful Holiday Season and a New Year of Peace and Happiness!

LaVerne McIver
