GFWC 1734 SOCIETY Calling all GFWC of Tennessee Members
It is my pleasure to issue an invitation to all members of the GFWC of Tennessee to join a most prestigious society. And that is the GFWC 1734 Society.
The purpose of this group is to maintain our historic GFWC Headquarters which was designated as a National Historic Landmark in 1991. Donations to the 1734 Society will aid in the upkeep and preservation of GFWC Headquarters, which in turn will allow GFWC to maintain a valuable permanent part of American Women's History. Only 5% of national landmarks relate to women's history.
Your annual membership begins when your check of $17.34, $34.68 or $173.40 is received at GFWC Headquarters. The suggested donation is named for the address which is 1734 N Street, NW, Washington DC 20036.
The amount of your tax deductible donation will determine the level of your membership. National recognition in each category will be awarded to the state with the largest monetary contribution. Awards will be made annually at the 2003 and 2004 International and State conventions.

Please add my contribution to the GFWC 1734 Society Fund. I want to help insure the preservation of our historic GFWC Headquarters. I understand that my contribution entitles me to membership in the 1734 Society for one year beginning on the date that my check is received at GFWC Headquarters.
