Great Speakers

GFWC 1st Vice President, Jacquelyn Pierce

Our special guest for the weekend will present an informative workshop on “How To Be A President”. This is most enlightening for those who are or will become president, whether it’s your club, your district or your state. Presidents Elect are especially encouraged to attend this session. Mrs. Pierce will also be our keynote speaker at Saturday’s Dinner addressing “You and Me In Harmony With GFWC”. In honor of Jackie’s theme “Stepping Up”, prizes will be given for outstanding shoes throughout the sessions.

A. CLARK FLATT, PRESIDENT & CEO, THE JASON FOUNDATION

After losing his own son to suicide, Clark Flatt established The Jason Foundation whose mission is to prevent youth suicide through education of parents and teenagers and to provide support to those who have lost teens through suicide. This promises to be a very enlightening and informative presentation and one that is part of GFWC President’s Special Project: “Count Ten For Kids”.

“YOU CAN OBTAIN 501-C-3 STATUS”

You don’t want to miss this Workshop. Accountants specializing in this area will walk you through the steps explaining what your club or district must do to become a 501-C-3 organization.
