JACQUELYN PIERCE

GFWC FIRST VICE-PRESIDENT 2002-2004

Current GFWC First Vice-President Jacquelyn (Jackie) Pierce has served as GFWC’s Second Vice-President, Recording Secretary, Treasurer, President’s Special Project Chairman, Leadership Chairman and Membership Committee Member. She also serves as a club president and is active in federated clubs in Illinois and Florida.

At the state level, Jackie was a past president of GFWC Illinois, Vice-President, President-

Elect, District President and President of the Organization of Past State Board Members.

Jackie received a B.S. in Education from Illinois State and a M.A. in Arts/Administration from the University of Illinois. She is a member of the National Association of Parliamentarians, University of Illinois President’s Council and American Seminar Leaders. Previously she has served on many Illinois state boards including the American Association of University Women, the League of Women Voters, Judson College, Sherman Hospital, Women in Business and United Methodist Church Women.

Her honors include Suburban Volunteer of the Year, Cosmopolitan Woman of the Year, Chicago Magazine Woman of the Year Finalist and recipient of the YWCA Leader/Luncheon Award.
