OFFICIAL CALL TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
MEETING & FALL CONFERENCE OF SEPTEMBER 26-28, 2003 MANCHESTER, TENNESSEE
GFWC of Tennessee hereby call its Board of Directors and members to convene for the Fall Conference and Board of Directors meeting to be held at Manchester, Tennessee.
ARTICLE VIII, Section 1: The Executive Committee Corresponding Secretary, Parliamentarian, Chaplain, District Presidents, Director-Elect of Jr. Clubs, Department Coordinators, Department Committee Chairmen, Junior Coordinators, Historian Editor of Tennessee Federation News and past State Presidents shall constitute a Board of Directors.
ARTICLE VIII, Section 2: Only members in good standing shall be eligible to membership in the Board of Directors, either by elections or appointments. The Board of Directors shall meet in the Fall of each year and at the call of the President. At Board Meetings, fifteen shall constitute a quorum.

DRESS FOR THIS WEEKEND WILL BE CASUAL OR THEME. IF A THEME IS NOT SPECIFIED DRESSY CASUAL IS APPROPRIATE. (NO CUTOFFS, BARE FEET, ETC.) THEME DETAILS ARE LISTED BESIDE FUNCTIONS.
Things to Bring!!!
DOLLARS FOR DELEGATES
Each club and each GFWC of TN Board member is asked to bring a Holiday Basket or Wreath for the Silent Auction. Any Holiday is acceptable.
LIBRARIES 2000 & BEYOND
EVERY person attending is asked to bring at least one book to be donated to a public elementary school library in the Manchester area. These will be used for table decorations on Sunday, then donated.
SHOES! SHOES! SHOES!
In honor of our GFWC guest, Jackie Pierce, whose theme for the 2002-2004 state presidents is Stepping Up to the Job emphasis will be placed on shoes. Wear your most unique ones all weekend long. A prize will be awarded for the most outstanding shoes of the entire weekend. (They need not match your outfit!) |
