Clubs: Special Opportunities for 2003
Reports
1st Vice President, Ann Durall
We began the reporting year for club
programs and activities on January 1, 2003 so we are well into the
year 2003. Many clubs have projects and programs that are going to
be eligible for very special awards on the GFWC level. These awards
bring a monetary award as well as certificates. Always check the GFWC
Program Book for additional information. I will be glad to assist
as needed. Ann: adurall37@aol.com
Here is a simple outline of some of
the GFWC Department opportunities. Club need to focus on these areas
before December 31, 2003, the deadline. Watch for other reminders
in this issue about GFWC Special Projects and GFWC of TN Special Projects.
Listed, are all divisions in each department
with the state chairmen. If there is no reminder after a division,
it means that you proceed with reporting as in the year 2002.

2003 activities for Youth Literacy/ASPIRE
are very important for several reasons. The narrative is 2 pages but
is single-spaced. It can have up to 5 pages of supporting material.

March 1, 2004 and the winning report to Washington DC by March 12th.
Note the different date for receipt of the report from clubs. This
club report will have the opportunity to win a monetary award at GFWC
if selected 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place at the National Convention. Only
one entry per state is accepted by GFWC. Check pages 13, 14 in blue
