Thanksgiving At Grandma's

by Ann Delaney

(Sing to: "Over the River & Through the Woods")

Down to the Freeway and left to Maine
Our family we did go.
To visit our kin. . . its Thanksgiving again,
More cousins I don't kno---w, oh . . .

Hours and hours of boring scenes,
The C.D., Dad won't play.
It would be better if Grandma's house,
Was only a mile away.

Down to the Freeway and left to Maine,
The holiday bird must wait.
The cranberry sauce. . . the pumpkin pie,
We're stuck at the last Toll Gate.
