1. How do you feel about having 3 regional meetings in the Fall of 2005 as opposed to having a district and a state fall conference? (The regional meetings were combined with the state meeting in the morning and the district meetings in the afternoon.)

2. What is the most important thing the Federation can do for you and your club?
A. 4 responses. Include all members-voting; too many board recommendations; cut costs; eliminate reports; print the minutes; COMMUNICATE

5. How do you prefer to get information?

6. Do you prefer to have all meetings in middle Tennessee or to rotate? Why?
A. 1. Rotate -- 27; 2. Middle TN -- 19 -- eight of which came from outside middle TN; 3. Least expensive -- 3; 4. No vote -- 6.

7. How are the club’s representatives funded to district and state meetings?
A. Club pays -- 7; Club pays partial -- 24; Club member pays -- 16

8. What is a concern/problem your club has?
A. New members, lack of members willing to take leadership roles, aging membership, reports too complicated -- enormous undertaking; involving all members

9. Can the state help you with this problem and how?
A. See # 2

10. Does your club report? Do you like the new GFWC report form? Did your club do a club rating guide?
A. 51 clubs surveyed said their clubs reported; 36 liked the new form; 47 did club rating guides

11. Do you think the GFWC of TN should take a leadership role in the war on terrorism/war? If yes, what role would you like to see us play?
A. GFWC should not take a leadership role in war on terrorism but some wanted information on keeping safe if something did happen.

12. Would you stay another night at convention to avoid going to a summer board meeting?
A. Resulted in a tie vote -- BUT Summer Board can’t be held following Convention because some information is not yet available.

13. What do you like best about the Federation?
A. Friendships made and the new ideas gathered were the reasons for attending Federation meetings; my local club

14. What would you do to make the state meetings more interesting to club members? Be specific.
A. Suggestions to make meetings more interesting will be published at a later date. ALL were very important and very good.
