Reporting — It means Everything to your club, District, State and GFWC

It’s that time again. Report Time. You have kept good records all year long, so now you are ready to record your programs and projects and community activities on the forms provided in the GFWC of TN Handbook. Each of your chairmen has a copy of the form, and the information about where to send her report.

You’re all getting together one morning to have a Reporting Session, and that will make it much easier — and lots more fun. Coffee and beignets make the work go a lot faster, and having each other’s company will help jog memories about all the wonderful things you’ve done this year. Now, let’s see, you did one project that fits several categories. Where do you report it? Look on page 7 of this issue for VP Mary Love Coley’s article. The answer to your question may be found there. If you don’t see exactly what you need, Call your District President, or Mary Love, and ask.

These reports are vitally important to the well-being of our Organization. They tell the State and GFWC how many different programs and projects the various clubs are doing. The dollar and time figures are important, too, as those statistics help GFWC secure sponsors from the corporate world, which — in turn — make possible the grants, prize money and help impact our communities.

Now you’re all Finished. That wasn’t so bad, now —was it? Actually it was FUN. You did Good.!! AND your reports are all ready to MAIL BEFORE FEB. 15th.

TFNews Issue #7 — Mail Delivery Problems

As all of you are probably aware, there were many problems with the mail delivery of TFNews # 7, which should have been in your hands by mid-November. If you did not receive a copy, I hope you contacted your local post office to ask about it; and found someone who would share theirs with you.

We have also put TFNews #7 online on my personal web page, which you can read at www.annebabin.com The link (TFNEWS) to this issue is right at the top of the page, highlighted.

We sincerely apologize for all the inconveniences this mail delivery problem caused. If there had been any way to avoid or rectify the problem, WE certainly would have done it..

This issue (# 8) will be mailed by a different service—but still at the bulk mail rate— and I hope it will reach each and every subscriber on our list.

Thanks for your patience and understanding. Anne Babin
