CREDENTIAL CARDS

Credential cards will be sent to each club president and board member in their call to Spring Convention 2002. The number of cards for each club will be based on the number of members for which dues have been paid to the treasurer by January 15, 2002.

Article II, Section 5

Election: Credential cards will enable members of the Board of Directors, Past State Presidents and delegates to vote. All improperly marked ballots shall be void. Names of candidate must appear on the ballots.

Article V, Section 1

The voting body of the annual convention shall consist of the membership of the Board of Directors, Past Presidents of GFWC of Tennessee, two accredited delegates, or their alternates, from each club with a membership of 50 or less, one additional delegate for each succeeding 50 or major fraction thereof, two delegates from each affiliated organization, alumni association, city and county federations.

EXAMPLES:

Happy Club paid dues on 12 members – gets 2 cards

Day Star Club paid dues on 33 members – gets 2 cards

Joyful Women paid dues on 76 members – gets 2 + 1 cards

Volunteer Women paid dues on 123 members – gets 2 +1 cards
Tennessee Women paid dues on 128 members – gets 2 + 1 + 1 cards

SUBMIT YOUR COMPLETED, PROPERLY SIGNED CREDENTIALS CARD WITH YOUR REGISTRATION FORM TO HAVE YOUR DELEGATE RIBBON AVAILABLE AT CONVENTION REGISTRATION.

OTHERWISE, COMPLETED PROPERLY SIGNED CARDS MUST BE PRESENTED TO THE CREDENTIAL CHAIRMAN UPON REGISTRATION.
